After seminary, Marc and Amy moved to the dusty plains of West Texas to begin RUF at Texas Tech alongside a new church plant.  They enjoyed 7 years of ministry there, but the greatest joy came just 2 months before moving to Virginia: after several years of infertility treatments, God blessed Marc and Amy with a precious baby girl, Caroline, who was born on Feb. 18, 2008.  Her adoption has deepened their own experience of what it means to be God the Father's adopted daughters and sons.

Marc loves being a dad, home remodeling, reading, ebay, coffee, discussing theology, hunting/fishing, and laughing with people. He particularly LOVES quotes and stories and literally has hundreds of them stored away in his mind!

Amy loves being a mom, playing and teaching violin and viola, and leading the worship team at church.   She enjoys sharing meals with people, home remodeling & decorating, teaching, discussing, and spending time with students. (among other things)
