They were married in 1996. Mark was ordained in the PCA as a deacon at New City Fellowship in St. Louis. Upon graduation from Covenant Seminary, he was ordained as a teaching elder in the Nashville Presbytery and sent out under MTW to spread the gospel in Peru. The Berry's are in their eighth year in Lima, ninth on the field. Mark spent 6 years serving the National Presbyterian Church in its leadership training, diaconal ministries and church planting efforts, and for the past 2 years has worked as the lead church planter of the Light of Life Presbyterian Church (Iglesia Presbiteriana Luz de Vida) in the Ate district of Lima. Mark also directs the Lima New City team of Mission to the World and serves as MTW's country director for Peru. Lori's ministry is both with her family (Mark and their five children), and to the women in the church, discipling and encouraging them. As you pray for them, pray that they would grow strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus and be used by God to extend his gracious rule and reign in Peru. The Berrys have 5 children: Emmet (8/12/87), Anna (3/26/99), Taylor (girl, 8/12/00), Abigail (6/27/02), and Hadassah (7/31/08).
