I was born and raised in Washington State on an island off Seattle. I attended the University of Aix-Marseille III in France for a year and a half and graduated from Western Washington University. After college, I attended Covenant Theological Seminary and have since continued the journey east to Richmond. I love the city, music, food, the university, and—more recently— learning to surf out on OBX.

RUF at VCU has gone through a time of transition these last couple of years. I’ve been gifted with the task of restarting the group here, with the help of some students who were involved in the past. On a weekly basis, I meet with anywhere from 12 to 20 students one-on-one, we’ve begun guys and girls small groups, and we have a large group meeting, where last we had 45 students show up. Every week we’ve had students bringing their friends and every week we’ve had people who don’t believe the Christian gospel. It’s really been wonderful to see the Lord at work, and hHe is seeing fit to use the ministry of RUF at VCU to reach students for Christ and equip them to serve for the furtherance of His Kingdom in His world
